KP government to introduce Pothole Fixer app for reporting broken roads

PESHAWAR: As a step towards e-governance, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Planning and Development Department (PDD) is introducing ‘Pothole Fixer’ app for the public to report broken roads in the province.

The application is being developed on the GIS platform of the PDD.

The application will enable the users to upload pictures in the real-time, and the pictures will be automatically shared with the concerned departments. The complaints pertaining to broken roads will be reported to Communication and Works, KP Highways Authority, and National Highway Authority.

The GIS cells have been set up in the 35 districts of KP. These cells have drawn 35,817 locations against 8,230 schemes of the Annual Development Program since 2017-2018, it was informed in a chaired by Additional Chief Secretary, KP, Shakeel Qadir Khan.
