
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been approached by the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) for the handing over of a parking space adjacent to Centaurus Mall in Islamabad.
Director Municipal Administration Shafi Marwat in a letter to the CDA referred to its meeting held on June 17 in which the CDA Chairman has desired that the Directorate of Municipal Administration may take the possession of the plot.
The MCI has asked to develop either a parking lot or a plaza for the citizens. Final decision will be made post possession of the plot and after getting orders from the Supreme Court (SC) and in accordance with rules and regulations.
Upon contact, the CDA spokesperson Syed Safdar Ali said the civic agency will respond to DMA timely.
