
Multan: Multan Development Authority’s (MDA) governing body held its 77th meeting. It was presided by chairman Rana Abdul Jabbar.
While discussing agenda items for MDA, the board allowed firm SARCO to complete its development work in accordance with older tender rates. However penalizing will be considered if the firm delays its developmental work.
Ten items in regards to Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) were also discussed. These included an increase in residential and commercial tariff, permission to make changes in WASA’s purchase committee and others. Risk allowance for employees of grade one to four working under Sewerage Operation System has also been raised.
MDA Additional Director General Chaudhary Muhammad Anwar briefed all members. These included MDA DG Imran Sikander Baloch, spokesperson Deputy Commissioner Multan, Malik Shafiq Ahmed, member provincial assembly Muhammad Saleem Akhtar and others.
