LAHORE: In a meeting presided by Planning and Development Board chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved development schemes worth almost Rs25.854 billion.
The three projects approved include the construction of 38.3km long Rawalpindi Ring Road (R3), under which the main carriageway (MCW) from Baanth (N-5) to Thalian (M-2) will be completed for Rs23.606 billion, a dual carriageway from Eidgah Chowk to Rasheed Abad Chowk in Multan costing Rs999.947 million and install FAO-assisted Climate Resilient Agriculture and Climate-Smart Water Management worth Rs1.248 billion in the Indus Basin.
