PM to inaugurate Pakistan’s first smart forest today

LAHORE: Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Political Communication in a tweet has informed that Prime Minister (PM), Imran Khan will inaugurate Rakh Jhok Forest,  – the first smart forest of Pakistan today.

According to the details, PM will lay the foundation by planting a sapling in the Rakh Jhok Forest which spreads across 24,000kanals in Sheikhupura.

Taking on Twitter, the SAPM was of the view that Rakh Jhok Forest is an important project of the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) project.

Smart forests focus on digital management of trees and saplings where digital techniques are used for the surveillance of the sites.
