
ISLAMABAD: During the first four months (July-October) of the current fiscal year, textile group exports have seen a rise of 4.1% as compared to exports of the corresponding period of last year.
Comparing the month of October of the current fiscal year to last year’s, a growth of 7.44% has been registered in textile sector exports according to latest data of advance releases on foreign trade statistics, released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics on Tuesday.
During the period from July-October of the current fiscal year, over $4.586 billion’s worth of textile goods was exported during the current fiscal year, showing an increase of 4.1% in comparison to $4.406 billion worth of textile exports during the same period last year.
Comparing monthly, last year October registered exports of $1.130 billion, while October of current fiscal year saw over $1.214 billion’s worth of textile products exported.
