The board directed the PPP unit to prepare a feasibility report for the construction of an Expressway from Mauripur Road to Y-junction and an interchange at the junction of ICI Bridge and Jinnah Bridge on PPP mode. Tenders will be floated for national and international bidders at the earliest.

An alternate link road will also be constructed to accommodate the residents of Korangi Creek, from the heavy inflow of traffic due to the educational institutions and industrial zones present nearby, along with the PAF Airmen Academy.

A Toll-Tax system will be installed at these roads after the feasibility reports of the project are submitted to the board.
