LAHORE: In the 76th meeting of the Cabinet Standing Committee on Finance and Development, the Punjab government on Tuesday gave a nod to the development of an elevated expressway from Gulberg.
The elevated expressway will help to maintain continuous traffic movement while also lowering pollutant levels.
The meeting was attended by Punjab’s Additional Chief Secretary, the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, the Finance Secretary, and secretaries from key departments.
In the meeting, over a dozen proposals were presented by various departments including the yearly road construction programme and water supply plans in minor districts, which were majorly accepted.
