Punjab’s urban development budget increases from Rs26bn to Rs34bn

LAHORE: The provincial government of Punjab has increased the budgetary allocation for urban development from Rs26.20bn to Rs34.015bn.

According to the details, out of the total allocation, Rs3.966bn has been allocated for South Punjab while Rs30.049bn for the development of the remaining areas of Punjab.

For South Punjab, out of the allocation of Rs3.966bn, Rs1.877bn will be spent on the current development projects while Rs2.089 for new projects.

Similarly, for the rest of Punjab, Rs21.507bn will be spent on the ongoing development projects while Rs8.54bn for initiating new projects.
