ISLAMABAD: The remittances transferred through Roshan Digital Accounts surpassed $200 million, it was announced.
The $200 million mark was achieved in 28 days, whereas the first $100m mark was achieved in 76 days.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Twitter to thank the overseas Pakistanis for the $200 million funds transferred through the digital service launched by the State Bank of Pakistan.
The SBP recorded the highest-ever single day remittance of $7.70 million on December 10, this year.
The Roshan Digital Account provides complete digital banking solutions for the overseas Pakistani diaspora, offering ease of payment and investment facilities in various sectors of Pakistan, including real estate, stocks, etc. for them to be able to get impeccable services in their homeland.
