ISLAMABAD: A budget of Rs72.15 million has been allocated to revamp the ‘Maraakiz’ for the residents across the federal capital.
The project will include carpeting of roads, lane marking, curbstones, and the rehabilitation of footpaths, parking areas and installation of streetlights.
Sector F-6 Markaz, F-8 Markaz, I-8 Markaz, I-9 Markaz and I-10 Markaz will be rehabilitated at the cost of Rs4.90 million. Whereas, Rs4.95 million for Sector F-7 Markaz, G-6 Markaz and G-8 Markaz, Rs4.85 million for F-11 Markaz, G-11 Markaz and G-7 Markaz, Rs4.75 million for Sector F-10 Markaz, Rs4.80 million for Sector G-9 Markaz and G-10 Markaz and Rs3.90 million for I-11 Markaz have been allocated respectively.
