Islamabad: The Cabinet has approved amending the blueprints of sectors G-13 and G-14 Islamabad to make way for the Naya Pakistan Housing Project.
The Mauve Area in these sectors was reserved for institutions and offices however Prime Minister Imran Khan approved changing the land use of both sectors for the government’s housing project.
Once approved, the summary has been sent to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and it is now doing its work, said CDA spokesperson Syed Safdar Ali.
The commission reviewing the master plan at the meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed has been provided with images to determine authorised and unauthorised housing units. A preliminary report will be ready by next month after which consultant firms will be hired to carry out technical work.
