Several development schemes slated for Punjab

LAHORE: On Tuesday, Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved six development schemes with a cost of Rs30,400.885 million.

These schemes were stamped in the 67th Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) meeting of the current fiscal year 2021-22. According to media reports, the meeting was presided over by Abdullah Khan Sumbal – the Chairman Planning & Development Board.

The approved development schemes include the University of Taunsa at the cost of Rs2,945 million. Moreover, the widening of metalled road from Drahma to Kot Chutta, construction of Northern Bypass of Dera Ghazi Khan, widening and improvement of the road from Bahawalnagar to Minchinabad and dualisation of Multan-Shujabad-Jalalpur Pirwala link road was also approved.
