KARACHI: The provincial government of Sindh is anticipating shutting down the industries operating in the residential areas of the province.
As per the Sindh Environment Minister, the provincial government is going to conduct a survey in the province for jotting down the industries operating in the residential areas of the province.
The minister was of the view that for the preservation of the environment the provincial government is taking various steps.
Sindh government has directed the officers to collect data and so that the lives of the people can be protected from the toxins released by these industries.
He was also of the view that strict action should be taken action against the officials who allow the construction of industries in residential areas.
