
Lahore: In a meeting of the Jason Pomeroy led a delegation of Singaporean construction experts from Singapore Pomeroy Studio with Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed, an interest from Singapore has been shown to invest in Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.
In a briefing given by the delegation, the minister was told about low-cost construction technologies and experience their firm holds in building low-cost housing in Singapore, Sweden, and Indonesia. Jason highlighted that their firm could be built a 40 storey tall building in a time period of 18 months.
Mehmoodur Rasheed welcomed the firm’s suggestions on low-cost housing as it aims to provide quality residential facilities to masses.
The meeting was attended by Federal Task Force for Housing Chairman Zaigham Rizvi, Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency Director-General Liaqat Chatha, Deputy Secretary Mumtaz Ahmed and Punjab Housing Taskforce General Secretary Atif Ayub.
