
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) held a meeting at its headquarters on Sunday. The meeting reviewed within city development projects in order to speed up work on them.
While PC-1 for Sector I-15 will be tabled before the CDA Development Working Party (DWP) for approval, the engineering wing has been directed to commence development work in Sectors E-12 and I-15 by end of the current financial year.
The meeting is expected to happen yet again within next two weeks. The CDA Chairman and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Chief Commissioner Amer Ali Ahmed has asked for the issuance of tenders for development projects. These also include the construction of underpasses between Sectors G-7 and G-8, Rawal Dam Chowk Interchange and expansion of IJP Road as part of the Traffic Management System.
