
Karachi: The Sindh Government’s Transport and Mass Transit Department has become active for retrieving 14,969 square yards of its land which is currently under occupation by various government agencies and departments.
Land worth billions of rupees is scattered across the province and belongs to Karachi Transport Corporation (KTC) and the Sindh Road Transport Corporation (SRTC). Letters have been written by the department, seeking help from the Sindh Police Chief, Karachi Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners and DIGs of Hyderabad, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad and Mirpurkhas.
