RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to strike the rules for illegal high rise/commercial buildings making it mandatory to acquire a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) concerning water supply, sewerage system and rainwater harvesting for approval of maps.

According to the officials, DG RDA Capt (Retd) Abdul Sattar Isani has advised the authorities not to give consent to any high rise/commercial building plans without NOC from WASA. In this regard, a letter was also written by DG RDA to Managing Director WASA Raja Shaukat.
