Kund malir beach, highway and mountains

People usually prefer to visit beaches in the summer, but since Kund Malir has a high tide season from June to August, it is best to go there during the low tide period from October to February. It is a much safer time to visit the beach.

Another excellent incentive to travel to Balochistan during this season is that the winters are generally comfortable or only slightly chilly. It will make the trip pleasant but be sure to still dress warmly. At the height of the winter, Hingol National Park’s nights can be extremely chilly.

Kund Malir is directly adjacent to the Makran Coastal Highway, which continues to Pasni, Ormara, and Gwadar. While the road leading to Kund Malir goes through a rocky and desolate terrain, the beach is also a part of the Hingol National Park.

The route starts from the area of Karachi’s S.I.T.E., from where the M-10 or Karachi Northern Bypass will take you to the city’s outskirts. You can use the Lyari Expressway to get to the Northern Bypass. In Balochistan, at the toll booth before Hub, the M-10 joins into the N25.

Get on the N25, and then keep travelling ahead when you pass Winder. You will get to the Zero Point, the beginning of the N10 or Makran Coastal Highway. The fine sand and crystal-clear waters of Kund Malir will be waiting for you there; the route leads directly to Hingol National Park.

The trip to Kund Malir takes about 4 hours at maximum, but if you’re travelling with children, it is suggested to stop for a short break somewhere close to Winder. Small ‘dhabas’ that offer snacks and beverages have been built alongside the road.
