ISLAMABAD: In a meeting chaired by Deputy ChairmanPlanning Commission, the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) approved four projects worth Rs6.8 billion.
One project worth Rs43.32 billion has been forwarded to the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) for approval.
Among the four approved projects, one is related to the construction of a 16-megawatt hydropower project for the energy supply to Gilgit and its surrounding areas through the existing 66-kV transmission line of Naltar-V.
The other three are IT related projects which include the feasibility study for establishing Jiddat Investment and Support Fund worth Rs84.2mn, and feasibility study and consultancy for the development of Special Technology Zones (STZs) worth Rs165mn.
Furthermore, the ‘High Impact Skills Boot Camp’ project worth Rs420mn was also approved.
