Rama Lake is located in the Gilgit-Baltistan northern areas, near the town of Astore. Due to illegal logging, the Astore has lost forests, resulting in fewer oak trees, vegetation, and rainfall.

The Rama Valley has a dense growth of trees like cedar, large pine, fir, and trees of juniper. Because it’s about 3300 metres above sea level, the valley is covered in snow for about 7 to 8 months yearly. In the season of summer, it becomes a lush and green paradise, which local shepherds appreciate.

Graana.com has prepared a guide on Rama Lake Astore, including its weather, location and much more.
